About me

Welcome! My name is Bo. I created this space for anyone who wants to direct their life with intent while reducing stress and anxiety. I write from my own experience, exploring mindfulness as noticing thoughts without judgment and creating small moments of choice in daily life.

I used to overthink constantly which created a lot of anxiety. For the longest time, I thought mindfulness meant clearing your mind of thoughts or feeling calm consistently, but I’ve learned it’s not about that at all.

Mindfulness, is about noticing your thoughts such as, “I can’t do this” or “This isn’t the right time” without automatically treating them as truth. It’s not about fighting your thoughts, suppressing them or eternal optimism. It’s about creating a small pause, a gap, where you get to consciously choose how to respond.

I started this blog to share my experience of what works for me in reducing stress and how to stay present. I’m not a psychologist or therapist, just someone exploring mindfulness in daily life and hoping my journey can help others find calm, clarity and conscious direction in their own lives.

Yours truly,

Bo
